Selenite is a beautiful crystal, a form of gypsum, a mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate, and its name is derived from the Greek word "Selene," meaning moon it has a beautiful calming effect on the mind, body, and spirit.

Selenite is unique in that it doesn’t need to be cleansed like so many other crystals. Incredibly it cleanses and recharges itself, as well as any other crystals you leave near, making it a wonderful tool in crystal healing practices.

• Use a smudge stick and pass the crystal through the smoke
